WA: Australia's first woman bishop to be appointed=2

Ms Goldsworthy said she believed opponents could live with the decision.

"I expect that (opponents) will feel that this is not what they would want," she told
ABC Television.

"But this week at the bishops' meeting protocols were agreed to unanimously by all
those bishops and I think this is a real sign of a way ahead for us - a way that we can
live with each other in grace and with purpose for the mission of the gospel."
